About This Blend

Our blenders meticulously procure and blend out up to seven China Anhui tea garden harvests, using 1st flush (spring) Young Hyson teas. Known as "Flourishing Spring" or "Yu Chin Cha", this organic green tea is selected from Chun Mee (small, twisted leaf) with a small percentage of Foong Mee (larger, curly leaf).
A foundation tea on the tea lists of Michelin-star Chefs and luxury hotels worldwide (alongside English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Chamomile and Peppermint), our Organic Health & Well Being Green offers a refreshing, mild cup suitable for any time of day. This is a "self-drinker", you do not need to add anything to it, and it will reward your body with a boost of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Like all green teas, please be mindful of water temperature and steeping time, to get the full appreciation of the young leaves.

Your FAQs, Answered
For Organic Health & Well-Being

Rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants and low in caffeine, it is a healthy cup to drink daily.

The one that you will drink. Meaning that if you prefer the clean finish of a Chinese green tea, or the vegetal, nori-like finish of a Japanese green, then that is what you will enjoy drinking the most. Drinking tea straight, without additional milk or sugar, will also keep your preferred cup healthier. Herbals, because they are naturally caffeine free, provide a refreshing palate change to plain water.

Organic teas are certified herbicide, and pesticide free and non-GMO. TEALEAVES is pleased to offer a variety of Certified Organic teas of the highest quality and palate. Each of our blends undergo strict independent third-party lot testing for herbicides and pesticides for each botanical ingredient. Therefore, whilst not all of our blends are Certified Organic, they are all rigorously tested to ensure that they are free from harmful chemicals and toxins. TEALEAVES maintains a very close relationship with each of the gardens we work with and do not require them to undergo the process of becoming Certified Organic. These certifications can impose large costs on our growers and are often not affordable for smaller gardens to obtain. TEALEAVES is proud to support small-scale growers and are extremely conscious of the implications of necessitating this type of credential.
