Originally from the Fujian province and the Chaozhou area of the Guangdong province in China, Gong Fu Cha is a practice of self-cultivation because of its ceremonial nature. The essence of this tea culture is to champion awareness of the 'cha qi' (tea energy) and of our own body and mind by experiencing its taste, aroma, and appearance. The ritual invites the precious oolong’s aroma to sing, its flavor to flourish and its colour to entice.
