Step By Step

STEP 1

Pick your favorite.

Think about what the simple act of making and enjoying a cup of tea adds to your life. We go to great lengths to make the very best teas, using the highest quality ingredients and employing meticulous time-honed craftsmanship. Our goal is for you to be happy in the moment, savoring your cup of tea!

For chai, we love using our classic Masala Chai, but our Herbal Spiced Chai is an excellent blend for a caffeine free experience.

STEP 2

Scoop and steep.

Add 2 tsp of tea directly into the pot. Add 1 cup of hot water and simmer gently for 20 minutes. This allows the flavors to steep and mingle. As chai is a mixture of spices as well as tea, the longer infusion time helps the herbs to properly steep. The milk will cut down on any bitterness from the released tannins in the black tea.

STEP 3

Add milk.

Pour 1 cup of milk. You can make it more decadent by using half-and-half instead of milk. Heat the mixture until the desired temperature, while whisking.
