Creating the Universal Language for Aroma
Why is it so difficult to articulate what we are smelling?
The Art: Right Brain
“Aroma is a powerful trigger of memory; a brief whiff can create vivid, potent images in our mind, associated with a confluence of recollections.” - Lana Sutherland | CEO, TEALEAVES
Exploring the relationship between aroma and mood, each blend is crafted in homage to a unique scent memory. The mood of Mountain Berry is Playful.
The Science: Left Brain
Utilizing headspace gas chromatography to index scent molecules in our blends, and applying Microsoft's Principles of Inclusive Design to create codified data visualization, we created the first iteration of the Language of Aroma.

Pleasant berry flavor, relaxing and soothing. Great bed time tea. ...
Disappointing. Your Vanilla Rooibos is so flavorful, and I found this tea not very flavorful at all. I don't add any sweeteners to any of my teas (and I have over 75 types in my tea cabinet) so if I feel it needs sweetening, it hasn't measured up. I have had many other berry based teas which far surpass this one with natural sweetness.
Dear Belle, Thank you for your feedback on our Mountain Berry. A member of our team will be in contact with you shortly
I received Mountain Berry Tea in the Daily Rituals of Aroma - Assortment Collection. I loved the flavor and vibrant color. I will definitely be ordering more.
