Ingredients

An English Affair

  • Ice
  • 2 Oz. Absinthe
  • 2 Dashes Orange Bitters
  • 2 Tsp. Lavender Earl Grey Syrup (see recipe below)
  • 2 Oz. Lavender Earl Grey Plymouth Gin (see recipe below)
  • Grapefruit Twist, For Garnish

Lavender Earl Grey Infused Plymouth Gin

Instructions

An English Affair

  1. Chill your glass with ice then swirl the glass with 1/2 Oz. absinthe.
  2. In mixing glass: 2 dashes of orange bitters, 2 Tsp. of Lavender Earl Grey Syrup, 2 Oz. of Lavender Earl Grey Infused Plymouth Gin. Add ice and swirl to chill throughout.
  3. In sipping glass: swirl away absinthe, strain and pour into prepped glass.
  4. Garnish with a grapefruit twist.

Lavender Earl Grey Syrup

  1. Add 4 grams of TEALEAVES Lavender Earl Grey Loose Leaf Tea per 2 cups (16 oz.) of boiling water.
  2. Steep 24 to 48 hours – the longer the steep, the stronger the infusion.
  3. Strain the loose tea out using a strainer.
  4. Add 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar, stir until dissolved over heated pan.
