Old Fashioned Tea Cocktail

Serves 1


  • 1 Sachet
    TEALEAVES Classic Black Iced Tea (Master Blend No. 1102)
  • 2 Ounces
    Wild Turkey Forgiven
  • 1 Tablespoon
    Simple Syrup (See Recipe Below)
  • 1 Cup
  • 2-3 Dashes
    Angostura Bitters
  • 1
    Orange Peel


  1. Steep one Classic Black iced tea sachet in 32 oz/946 ml of hot water.

  2. Remove the sachet after 3-4 minutes and let the water cool.

  3. Reserve ¾ of a cup to use in the cocktail, and refrigerate the rest for later.

  4. Mix the simple syrup, ¾ cup of TEALEAVES Classic Black iced tea, and the rest of the ingredients together.

  5. Pour over a single large ice cube.

  6. Garnish with an orange peel.

Simple Syrup


  • 1 Cup
  • 1 Cup


  1. Combine sugar and 1 cup of water in a small saucepan.

  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar is dissolved.

  3. Remove from heat and cool.
