Blackberry Peach Tea

Try making this thyme and whiskey infused iced tea cocktail to pass the thyme away.

Blackberries, peaches and a dash of whiskey make a perfect summer cocktail. Add TEALEAVES T Blend and a simple thyme infused syrup to perfectly complement summer’s flavors.

Blackberry Peach Tea

Serves 1


  • 2 Teaspoons
    Tealeaves T Blend (Master Blend No. 3530)
  • 2 Ounces
    Kentucky Spirit
  • 1 Tablespoon
    Thyme Simple Syrup (See Recipe Below)
  • Small Handful
  • 1/2
    Peach, Sliced


  1. Steep 2 tsp TEALEAVES T Blend in 8 oz/236 ml hot water.

  2. Let steep for 2-3 minutes before straining and cooling the tea.

  3. Muddle blackberries in the bottom of a Collins glass.

  4. Layer ice and peach slices until the glass is ½ to ¾ full.

  5. Mix the Kentucky Spirit and simple syrup together.

  6. Fill the rest of the glass with the Tealeaves T Blend tea.

  7. Enjoy!

Thyme Simple Syrup


  • 1 Cup
  • 1 Cup
  • 4 Sprigs


  1. Combine sugar and 1 cup of water in a small saucepan.

  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar is dissolved.

  3. Rub the thyme sprigs between your hands.

  4. Remove from the heat and add the thyme sprigs to the sugar mixture.

  5. Let the tea steep for 10 minutes.

  6. Remove the thyme sprigs.
