A grownup rendition of lemonade, this tea cocktail is the perfect end to the night.


Warm bourbon with a hint of mint and citrus to the palate pairs well with lemonade and tea for an adult summer drink.

Add a few berries and you’ll be ready to relax on the patio.

Ingredients

Mint Simple Syrup

  • 1 Cup White Sugar
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Cup Fresh Mint Leaves

Black and Blue Arnold

  • 2 Tsp. TEALEAVES T Blend Loose Leaf Tea
  • 2 Oz. Wild Turkey Rare Breed Bourbon
  • 1 Tbsp. Mint Simple Syrup (see recipe)
  • 1 Cup White Sugar
  • 1 Bunch Fresh Mint (approximately 1 cup)
  • 1 Handful Blackberries and Blueberries
  • ¼ Lemon
  • ¼ Cup Lemonade

Instructions

Mint Simple Syrup

  1. Combine sugar, 1 cup of water and mint in a small saucepan.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Remove from heat and cool.
  4. Strain through a sieve.

Black and Blue Arnold

  1. Steep 2 tsp. TEALEAVES T Blend in 8 oz./ 236 mL. of hot water.
  2. Let the tea steep for 2-3 minutes before straining and cooling it.
  3. Muddle the berries in the bottom of a Collins glass.
  4. Fill the glass between ½ to ¾ full with ice.
  5. Mix the whiskey together with the simple syrup, squeezed lemon, and lemonade.
  6. Pour this mixture over ice.
  7. Fill with the prepared T Blend tea and enjoy!
