Blending Notes
AROMA: Sweetly intoxicating
PALATE: Delicate whisper of fruit
PURPOSE: A sweet escape
Organic Young Hyson green tea naturally perfumed with the essence of freshly plucked ripe pears.
Ingredients
Organic green tea, natural pear flavor
Our loose leaf Organic Pear Tree tea was first blended to illustrate how meticulous artisan-blending techniques can artfully balance medium-tannic Young Hyson green teas (spring, mountain harvests) with the character of pear. Pears have been cultivated in China for millenia. Palate-pleasing served iced or hot!

I'll honestly say that I was attracted to the packaging first since the illustration was simply beautiful. But when I actually brewed it, I felt in love with the scent as well. The website was suggesting iced version as well, so I'll try!
I love the subtle ripe taste of pear and this wonderful tea captures that fantastically! It's organic as well to boot. The scent and taste are just so refined so delicate and something next to magically for me. It has no artificial taste all the fragrance is explosive when you open the tin yet just so refined and delicate. It is a VERY SPECIAL TEA for my palate as this wonderful taste and fragrance can only otherwise be enjoyed with a perfectly summer ripe pear which in itself is as rare. I would highly recommend pear lovers to try this tea!
I grew up watching the princess diaries. This green tea tastes exactly like what I would expect royal Genovian pear tea to taste like. It’s a wonderful aroma with a very delicate pear taste (do not steep for more than 1:30 minutes), refreshing but not in an overbearing sense, exceptionally light, and calming. Pear and green tea surprisingly go well together! This is one of my favorite green teas ever. Purchase. You will not regret it!
