The #PaletteForYourPalate Tea Cocktail Second Spring is Bartender Todd Zimmerman’s creation, inspired by TEALEAVES Organic Peppermint + Pantone 290C + Mood: Refreshed.
Notes from Todd Zimmerman, Bartender at Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver:
“The name Second Spring comes from Albert Camus. He muses that, ‘Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.’ It was a perfect fit for this autumnal cocktail, with its blue tones, floral ingredients and fresh taste from Organic Peppermint.”
Second Spring Cocktail
INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 oz. TEALEAVES Organic Peppermint & Butterfly Pealeaf-Infused Gin (see recipe below)

3/4 oz. Elderflower Liqueur

1/4 oz. Maraschino Liqueur
-
1/2 oz. Lemon Juice
-
1/2 oz. Grapefruit Juice
-
1/4 Ounces Cream
-
1/4 Ounces Sirop d'Orgeat
-
1 Egg White
-
1 oz. Prosecco
-
2 TEALEAVES Organic Peppermint Tincture (see recipe below)
STEPS

Shake and double strain ingredients in coupe.

Top up with prosecco and garnish with butterfly pealeaf.

INGREDIENTS

2 TEALEAVES Organic Peppermint Whole Leaf Pyramid Teabag

10 oz. Gin
-
5 g. Butterfly Pea Flowers
STEPS
- Put all ingredients into an ISI whipping siphon.

6 oz. 151-Proof Rum
STEPS

Combine all ingredients for 16 hours.

Remove teabag and transfer infusion into a cocktail mixer.
