Mint Julep Tea

Mint Julep Iced Tea
INGREDIENTS

2 tsp. TEALEAVES Organic Health & Well-Being Loose Leaf Tea
-
2 oz. Russell's Reserve 10 Year Old Bourbon
-
1 Tbsp. Mint Simple Syrup (see below)

2-3 Sprigs Fresh Mint Leaves (For Garnish)
STEPS

Take 2 tsp TEALEAVES Organic Health & Well-Being tea and steep in 8 oz/236 ml of hot water (82ºC/180ºF is ideal).

Strain the tea after 1 minute, cool.

Muddle the mint leaves at the bottom of a Collins glass.

Fill the glass half full of ice.

Mix the whiskey and simple syrup, and pour over ice.

Fill the rest of the glass with Organic Health & Well-Being Green tea and stir.
Mint Simple Syrup
INGREDIENTS

1 cup White Sugar

1 cup Fresh Mint Leaves
STEPS

Combine sugar, 1 cup of water and mint in a small saucepan.

Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar is dissolved.

Remove from heat and cool.

Strain through a sieve.
