The #PaletteForYourPalate Tea Cocktail The Royal Tea is MO Bar & Lounge Manager Jule Van Zant’s creation, inspired by TEALEAVES Organic Imperial Oolong + Pantone 1945C + Mood: Sophisticated.

TEALEAVES’ and Pantone Color Institute’s #PaletteForYourPalate is a first-of-its-kind collaboration where 10 iconic tea blends serve as muse to over 30 world-class chefs and mixologists.

The Royal Tea Cocktail

INGREDIENTS
  • 3 Tbsp. Pomegranate Seeds
  • 1/2 oz. Meyer Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 oz. Ginger Oolong Honey (see recipe below)
  • 1/4 oz. Beet Juice
  • 2 oz. Vodka
  • 1 Candied Beet, Sliced
STEPS
  1. Spoon pomegranate seeds into cocktail shaker.

  2. Gently press to extract juice.

  3. Add remaining ingredients, add ice and stir.

  4. Double strain into martini glass and garnish with candied beet.

  5. Enjoy!


Ginger Oolong Honey

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 TEALEAVES Organic Imperial Oolong Whole Leaf Pyramid Teabag
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 cup Honey
  • 1 tsp. Fresh Ginger
STEPS
  1. Combine water, honey, contents of 1 TEALEAVES Imperial Oolong Whole Leaf Pyramid Teabag and fresh ginger in medium saucepan at medium high heat and bring to a boil.

  2. Reduce heat to low and stir constantly for about a minute until the honey is completely dissolved.

  3. Remove from heat completely and let cool for 30 minutes.
