In this section, we explore the confluence of science and art in the appreciation of tea. The blending and steeping of tea benefits from a meticulous process whereby the tea is made (and steeped) in a disciplined, systematic approach. Whether making a simple cup of Darjeeling or whisking a bowl of Matcha, one best understands the craft of the blender by making tea with mindfulness. In this manner, we arrive at a resultant infusion that has the balance, complex notes, and flavour as produced by the terroir and enhanced by artisan blending technique.
