Belknap's expertise is reflective of his vast experience at top resorts and the myriad accolades earned throughout his career. He joined the Omni Mount Washington Resort from Colonial Williamsburg and The Williamsburg Inn in Virginia, where he was Corporate Executive Chef and Director of Food and Beverage.
In 2001, Belknap's Dining Room at The Williamsburg Inn was named one of the best restaurants on the continent by Distinguished Restaurants of North America, received the National Restaurant Association Award of Excellence for Service, Wine and Food; the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence; and an AAA Four-Diamond Rating. Along with three medals won in international competitions, including one for the U.S. Culinary Olympic Team, Belknap received the Blue Plate Award from Epicurean.
