A delicate infusion paired with a subtle floral palate.
The history of white tea reads almost like a fairy tale. During the 5th and 6th centuries CE, the Chinese emperors reputedly employed only virgins to harvest white tea. Wearing white gloves, these young girls cut the young buds with golden scissors, and they would land into a golden bowl before being presented immediately to the emperor – the only tealeaves in the land completely untouched.
A true luxury, considered by connoisseurs to be one of China's most famous white teas. The combination of subtle yet sweet complexity and an underlying floral taste makes this blend uniquely satisfying.
