MASTER BLENDER TASTING NOTES

Over the years, we have shared with Barbara Barry a mutual love for the simple beauty found in the daily ritual of tea, which has inspired us to co-create a number of signature Barbara Barry blends, including
Orange Grove, available now.
Our Master Blenders derived several dozen bespoke blends for Barbara, drawing from her art background for inspiration. This Citrine blend represents the concept of sophisticated blending as applied to herbs, which is atypical. The norm for herbal and tisane infusions is a singular flavour – instead, this blend seeks to draw in the palate with layers of flavour and soft edges.
Iced tea is an easy and delicious way to serve CITRINE:
01 Steep the tea at least minutes, preferably up to an hour
02 Chill overnight in the fridge or cooler
03 Serve in a tall glass over ice
The Master Blender also suggests using CITRINE in alcoholic infusions:
CITRINE MOJITO
01 Add 6 teaspoons of CITRINE to one bottle of golden rum
02 Let steep 1 day
03 Strain out the leaves from the golden rum
04 Use the golden rum to prepare a mojito using a standard recipe
CITRINE GIN AND TONIC
01 Add 6 teaspoons of CITRINE to one bottle of gin
02 Let steep 1 day
03 Strain out the leaves from the gin
04 Use the gin to prepare a gin and tonic using a standard recipe
