

Darjeelings are considered by our blenders to be one of the top three black tea harvests and can be unbelievably intoxicating to the palate. There is a great degree of variance with this blend, as terroir has a larger impact on the green character. As with all our blends, we do not seek to maintain consistency but rather to highlight, through fastidious technique, the most conspicuous notes of each blend.
To blend this tea, our blenders incorporate four to six harvests - more ingredients are often required to enhance the key distinctive notes of Darjeeling, and this process is especially vital in the Green Darjeeling aesthetic.
