Hundreds of years ago, a malnourished Chinese dragon was once again suffering from a backache. For years, he had been terrorizing the local village, and all were afraid. This year, a farmer had discovered an herb that would cure all pains, and as a peace offering, delivered a basket of it to the dragon. After that, there were no more fearful incidents, and all was well.
The profile of this tea is nuanced and best suited for self-drinking in the late morning, when the palate is clear. The extreme climate at the high elevations where this tea is grown produces a complex, mesmerizing taste.

MASTER BLENDER TASTING NOTES
A successful rendition of this blend requires a masterful combination of skill and patience. The tender tea leaves used are grown at 2500 ft above sea level in the Dong Yang County of Zhejiang Province and picked slowly to avoid bruising. They are processed in the 1st flush (April and early May) as the tea bushes are just emerging from the winter. Most quality green teas are harvested early in the season (1st flush) with some notable exceptions - the main regions remain to be: Anhwei, Chekiang, Kiangsi, Fukien, Kwangtung, and Hunan.
