Iced tea was invented in America in 1904, completely by accident.  At a sweltering day during the World’s Fair in St. Louis Missouri, Englishman Richard Blechynden’s tea concession was selling poorly. To help attract customers, he decided to add ice to the hot tea and created Iced Tea.
