

According to European folklore, chicory was believed to be able to open locked doors. There are more grounded benefits, of course – containing inulin, it may help humans with a variety of ailments including weight loss, relieving constipation, and improving general health.
Carob pods have a naturally sweet, round, and roasted flavour and is high in vitamin B and calcium. They are often substituted for chocolate because of comparable colour and flavour. Chicory root's roasted flavour adds the raw umber colour to the blend.
