The seductive aroma of night-blooming jasmine perfumes this blend of fancy oolong and green tealeaves with rich body and wondrous pale jade liquor.
We use a specific night-blooming varietal to harmonize with a high-mountain oolong so the leading edge of the aroma is floral but the finish and aftertaste has a hint of orchid.
This soothing jasmine bouquet mixed with the intricacies of green and oolong tealeaves is wonderful post-meal or in the evening as a means to unwind. This tea is best enjoyed from a yixing teapot, reserved only for our Jasmine Green Oolong. It is said that with time, you will only have to add boiling water because the teapot will have become so infused with the orchid character of the tea, it will infuse the boiling water itself.

Oolong teas undergo a partial oxidation, which can vary from 10 to 80 per cent depending on the style of tea in each region to the wishes of the tea maker. This broad oxidation range brings a remarkable number of delicious teas with a range of styles and flavours. The high-mountain oolong used in this blend is lightly-oxidized, resulting in a floral undertone.
